About Mariam
As a psychology student and peer tutor at my college, I have experience helping classmates understand course material and prepare for exams. I often support friends by explaining concepts in a simple and clear way. I also work full-time job as a learning support (shadow) teacher, which has helped me develop patience and effective ways to explain academic topics.

My approach to tutoring is simple: I try to make psychology feel understandable, not overwhelming. I break concepts down step by step and explain them in a clear way, often using real-life examples so the ideas make more sense and are easier to remember. I also encourage students to ask questions and talk through the material instead of just memorizing it.
A typical lesson is about 60 minutes, but I can adjust the time depending on what the student needs. During the lesson we usually review class material, explain topics, and work on assignments or exam preparation.
I am a psychology student, and I work as a learning support (shadow) teacher, where I help students understand their lessons and stay engaged in class. This experience helped me learn how to explain things patiently and adapt my explanations depending on how each student learns.
My lessons are mainly for college students studying psychology, especially those who need help understanding their courses or preparing for exams. I teach in Arabic and English.
