Hi, I'm Emily - a Psychology student with experience mentoring students through the RAISE Foundation and supporting children at OSCH. I'm passionate about helping young people feel confident in their learning and reach their full potential. My background in psychology has given me a deep understanding of how students think, learn, and stay motivated. I bring patience, empathy, and structure to every lesson, tailoring my approach to suit each student's needs. Whether it's improving English skills, essay writing, or study habits, my goal is to make learning engaging and enjoyable while helping students build self-belief and lifelong academic confidence.

My tutoring approach is warm, structured, and student-focused. I believe every student learns differently, and I tailor each lesson to their individual strengths and needs. I focus on building confidence as well as academic results - helping students feel capable and engaged in their learning. A typical lesson runs for around 60-90 minutes and includes clear explanations, guided practice, and review time. I incorporate visual and discussion-based learning strategies. My English lessons are best suited for primary and high school students who want to improve comprehension, essay writing, and communication skills in a supportive environment.
