About Larisa
I’ve always had a strong interest in psychology, particularly in understanding how people think and behave, which is what led me to study it at university.
I want to teach because I genuinely enjoy helping others understand topics that can sometimes feel overwhelming at first. I know from experience that psychology can be challenging, especially when it comes to applying theories and writing high-quality exam answers, so I aim to make it clearer and more manageable for my students. I’m a patient and approachable tutor, and I enjoy building students’ confidence as well as their knowledge. Seeing students improve and feel more comfortable with the subject is what motivates me, and I aim to create a positive and supportive learning environment in every lesson.

My approach is student-focused, with lessons tailored to individual strengths and areas for improvement. I focus on helping students understand key psychological concepts while also developing strong exam technique, including how to structure answers and apply knowledge effectively.
In lessons, I use a mix of clear explanations, exam-style questions, and practice with past papers to build confidence and improve performance. Lessons are typically 60 minutes long, and I aim to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. My tutoring is suitable for GCSE and A-Level students looking to improve their grades and overall understanding.
