Hello! I’m Manroop, a passionate Psychology teacher and a certified school counselor with hands-on experience in both classroom teaching and emotional mentoring of students. About the lesson

As a psychology teacher and certified school counselor, my approach blends conceptual clarity with emotional connection. I believe that understanding psychology isn’t just about memorizing theories—it’s about relating them to real-life experiences. My classes are designed to make students think, feel, and reflect. Teaching Techniques and Methods I follow an interactive and activity-based approach, using real-life examples, storytelling, role-plays, and visual aids to explain concepts. Whether it’s understanding Freud through mind-mapping or discussing personality through games, I ensure learning is engaging, not intimidating. I also integrate mindfulness techniques and mental health check-ins into my sessions to make them more holistic. Usual Structure of a Class Each session begins with a quick recap or reflection. I then introduce the new concept using relatable examples, break it down using visuals or diagrams, and often involve the student in a discussion or activity to reinforce it. The class ends with a small quiz, creative task, or real-life application question to help them retain the lesson meaningfully. What Makes Me Different Being both a teacher and a counselor, I bring patience, empathy, and adaptability to every class. I focus on making the student feel heard and understood. My aim is not just academic success, but emotional growth too. I also specialize in helping students manage exam stress, build study skills, and develop interest in psychology as a life skill.
