About Priyadeep
A published author at 19, Priyadeep Kaur has a dedicated following. Her spirit turned her to be a novelist whose work has been recognized by the Indian Prime minister, Shri Narendra Modi.
Her fourth released book Mostly Normal is the first Indian book on disability awareness to top the charts. Mostly Normal was released on 26th September 2022 and is still ranked #1 Amazon Bestseller category after several months after its official release.
Apart from the rankings, Mostly Normal is getting amazing and emotional responses from her readers who are touched by the book Mostly Normal as it reveals the journey of acceptance towards disabilities and encouragement to take responsibility for people with special needs.
Her first book, Millions Of Faces In A Face is very popular among youngsters which is all about strong yet complicated feelings of the youth, touching various social issues like amateur fascination, IIT craze, poverty, career obsession and much more, which has been portrayed through her story.
Her other book, Oscar For Loving, Grammy For Not! was an instant Bestseller. Also, her book was #1Bestseller on Amazon. This book is based on the theme of making choices in life. Her book also leads to a social campaign on social media with the hashtag #YOURCHOICEMAKESYOU
Her book is said to be an extraordinary example where social messages and thoughts have been portrayed in a lucid language.
“I am lucky enough that I am trying to inspire people from too little things,” tells Priyadeep Kaur, who is awarded with Uttar Pradesh Gaurav, Atal Sammaan 2018, and the title of Shaan-e-Kashi for her immense efforts in Indian contemporary writing at such young age.
Priya deep has spent most of her life in Shiv Ki Nagri Kashi- Banaras and is famously known as Kashi Ki Beti in her hometown. Her writing provides a rich lens into the contemporary semi-urban landscape of Indian youth.
When not writing, she enjoys singing, dancing, petting dogs and her 'Lights-Camera-Action' things. Priyadeep Kaur has worked in several punjabi movies and webseries as the production manager, writer. She tries to see the universe in a humorous and spiritual way at the same time. Priyadeep is fast emerging as one of the richest young voices in Indian contemporary writing.
