About Chloe

I am a published writer with work featured in multiple literary magazines, so when it comes to writing and English, I know the craft from the inside out. Writing is not just something I teach, it is something I actively do and care deeply about.

I have a background in marketing, web development, and film, which means I understand how writing works across a lot of different contexts, from creative storytelling to clear professional communication. That range helps me meet students where they are and teach skills that are actually useful in the real world.

My lessons are one on one and fully tailored to you. There is no fixed program or one size fits all approach. We work at your pace, on the things that matter most to you, and I make sure every session feels productive and worth your time.

I am patient, reliable, and easy to talk to. A lot of my students come in feeling like writing is just not for them, and that is usually the first thing we work on together. Feeling comfortable is just as important as the actual lesson, and I always make sure you feel supported from the start.

About the lesson

Hi, I'm Chloe, a published writer and digital creative based in Toronto who loves helping people get better at writing and English.

I work with students of all ages, from kids in grade school to adults who just want to communicate more clearly. Every lesson is different because every student is different. I always start by figuring out where you are and what you actually need help with, and we go from there.

My lessons are relaxed and low pressure. We might do a short writing exercise to warm up, then focus on one thing you want to improve, like how to structure a paragraph, how to write more clearly, or how to make your writing sound more like you. I give feedback that is honest but encouraging, because the goal is always to build your confidence, not tear it down.

What makes me a little different is that writing is not just something I teach. It is something I do. I am a published writer with work in several literary magazines, so I bring real experience to every lesson, not just textbook knowledge. I also have a background in marketing and design, which means I understand how to write for different situations and audiences.

My lessons are a good fit for students working on essays or creative writing, adults who want to improve their writing at work, and anyone who just wants to feel more comfortable putting words on a page. If writing feels hard or frustrating right now, that is exactly what I am here to help with.
