• 1. When and why did you develop an interest in your chosen field?

  I developed an interest in writing at a very early age. I am a very creative person and always felt creative writing was a vehicle that allowed me to express myself. As I began to write, I understood the importance of method, grammar and editing. As I grew as a writer, I began to develop these skills, which in turn strengthened my writing skills. I took a position in China, teaching English at the largest high school in the Liaoning province and soon, I developed the program for the school that they still use to this very day. My first book, "The Planet" was published a couple of years back and since then, I have written 5 more manuscripts, that are set to be published. I believe that teaching helps me grow, while I am helping others and this is a very precious gift that I have been given.

• 2. What makes you passionate about your subject?

• 3. What do you like about tutoring? What makes you a "Superprof"?

  I like being a tutor, as I am able to share my ideas and experiences with people who want to learn. My experience is that people who come to Superprof, due so because they want to improve themselves. This is a great feeling and something that I am very happy to be a part of.

• 4. Do you have any role models; a teacher that inspired you?

  Yes. Steven Pressfield has had a major influence on me and my writing. He is a master writer and continues to inspire.

• 5. What are your keys to success?

  I believe that diligence, hard-work and consistency are the corner stones of success. In order to become good at something, one must practice and then receive evaluations on their work.
