About Samantha
I am a published and prize-winning author of short stories and longer fiction, most recently a young-adult Gothic novel called The Haunting of Lindy Pennyworth ((concealed information)

I graduated from Magdalen College Oxford with a BA (2.1) in Spanish Literature and followed this with a First Class Hons BA in Literature from the Open University and an MA (Merit) in Children's Literature from the University of Roehampton.
I have spent the last eighteen years working as a freelance writer and editor, as well as a teacher (from primary school through to and including adults) and a primary school librarian and storyteller.
