As a tutor, I prioritize algorithmic thinking over rote memorization. My goal is to help you understand the "why" behind a line of code or a complex derivative so you can solve problems independently rather than just following a recipe.
My Teaching Method
I utilize an active-learning approach. Instead of lecturing, I use "live-coding" for programming or "first-principles derivation" for math. We break down large problems into manageable pseudocode or logical steps before touching a keyboard or calculator.
What Sets Me Apart
I bring the rigor of Purdue’s Computer Science program combined with the communication skills of an Eagle Scout. Having led many class groups, I know how to remain patient and adapt my navigation style to ensure no student feels lost in the weeds of a difficult topic.
