About Achal
Hi! I’m a master’s student in pure mathematics and a former chef who went back to uni. I’m curious about how things work and I like breaking big ideas into simple, step-by-step pieces. When I’m not studying, I’m reading, gaming, or cooking something new. I tutor because I love those “aha” moments: understanding the why makes the how feel natural. I’m patient, organized, and easy-going, and I’ll meet you where you’re at while nudging you to think like a problem-solver.

About my approach: * I teach the why as much as the how: we build intuition first, then practice reliable methods. * I use questions, visuals, and real examples so students can explain ideas in their own words. I understand different students learn in different ways * I emphasize problem-solving habits: unpack the question, choose a strategy, check the result, and reflect on errors. I teach: High-school mathematics, physics First-year university mathematics: calculus, linear algebra, statistics and probability, discrete mathematics I am new to formal tutoring, but highly committed and passionate about mathematics.
