About Fisayo

I'm Fisayo, a Mathematics tutor based in Nigeria with a BSc in Pure Mathematics from the University of Ibadan and over 8 years of tutoring experience.
I started tutoring during my undergraduate years and quickly built a reputation through word of mouth. By my first year at university, I had already tutored over 10 students across different levels. I have worked with learners as young as 4 years old, helping one student go from struggling academically across multiple schools to winning awards, and another develop strong early reading and number skills in preparation for Primary 1.
I am currently furthering my expertise through a Data Science program, which sharpens my analytical approach to understanding how students learn and where they need the most support.
I am patient, adaptable, and passionate about making mathematics accessible to every kind of learner, regardless of age, background, or starting point.

About the lesson

I hold a BSc in Pure Mathematics from the University of Ibadan and have been tutoring students for over 8 years, working with learners from age 4 all the way to university level.
My approach starts with understanding how each student thinks before introducing any new concept. I then break topics down into the simplest possible steps and create personalized notes and exercises tailored to that specific student. If a method isn't clicking, I switch approaches immediately, because confusion left too long turns into fear of the subject.
My lessons are typically 50–60 minutes and are conducted online. I have experience teaching foundational arithmetic, algebra, further maths, and advanced university-level mathematics. I've also supported students through pre-university exam preparation.
Whether you're just starting out or working through advanced topics, my goal is simple: make maths make sense, step by step, until it finally clicks.
