About Giancarlo
About Me
I have been playing guitar for over 30 years. What began as curiosity at a young age became a lifelong discipline — one that continues to challenge and inspire me every day.
Over the decades, I have invested thousands of hours studying the instrument and learning from outstanding musicians across multiple genres. That depth of experience has shaped not only my technical ability, but my understanding of how music truly works — on the fretboard and beyond it.
I teach students of all ages and levels — from complete beginners picking up the guitar for the first time to advanced players exploring 6-, 7-, and 8-string instruments. My background spans classical repertoire, rock, progressive styles, fingerstyle technique, improvisation, composition, and modern fretboard mastery.
In addition to guitar technique, I teach music theory in a way that is clear, practical, and directly applied to your playing. Harmony, chord construction, scales, modes, rhythm, ear training — these are not abstract concepts. They are powerful tools that will help you understand the instrument and unlock creative freedom.
After 30 years with the guitar, one truth remains constant:
Music transforms people.
It builds discipline. It sharpens focus. It strengthens confidence. And it gives voice to ideas and emotions that words cannot express.
Teaching allows me to pass on not only knowledge, but a mindset — the patience, precision, and passion required to truly grow as a musician.
