About Shakti
I am a Liberal Arts student in the the third year of my undergraduate course. I am majoring in English Literature and foster immense love for the subject.
I have taught quite a lot of my peers and school-going kids, which has made me confident about my teaching abilities. I can put myself in the learner's shoe and intuitively understand where one may be encountering problems pertaining to any topic.
On the whole, I am patient and ardent in my pursuits. :)

I believe that providing an individual with a safe space to explore their thoughts and impressions about any literary text is the best way to learn. Once comfortable enough, the more complex stuff can be fun too! I encourage active participation and prefer learning be done through inquiry infused with a lot of curiousity.
I will ask one to read the relevant text prior to the session and encourage people to present in their own way - through PowerPoint or simply by talking about what they felt. I would begin by asking people their first impressions on the text and how the literary work made them feel.
I will guide the students throughout by helping them shape their arguments through conversations and other material that I will share.
My teaching style puts great emphasis on exploration. Throughout, I will try my best remaining sensitive to the students' needs and comfort and alter my methods accordingly.
