About Zinnia
I hold a strong academic background in computer science and have been teaching Python for over 5 years to university students, professionals, and hobby learners. My experience includes conducting workshops, 1-on-1 coaching, and curriculum development for Python basics to advanced applications. I enjoy helping students turn abstract code into something they truly understand and enjoy writing. My approach focuses on simplifying complex topics by breaking them down into understandable segments. My Python lessons are structured to make programming logical, hands-on, and goal-oriented. I begin with a short theory session that introduces the topic and its relevance, followed by guided coding exercises that reinforce understanding. I specialise in teaching Functions and File Handling—two crucial areas that give students control over their programs and help manage data efficiently. Students learn how to write modular code using functions, and how to read/write data using different file types in Python. These skills are essential for academic projects and real-world programming tasks alike. Each lesson also incorporates practice problems and homework support to prepare students for tests and assignments. Whether it's solving university lab questions, completing final projects, or preparing for technical interviews, my lessons focus on clarity, confidence, and consistent improvement. I also provide code review and debugging support as needed.
