About Tess
I am a passionate Python tutor with 6 years of experience, having successfully taught over 200 students from schools, universities, and professional backgrounds. My lessons are designed for learners at all levels—from complete beginners learning their first lines of code to advanced students working on complex projects. I believe Python is not just a programming language, but a powerful tool for problem-solving, creativity, and innovation. My teaching approach focuses on practical, hands-on learning with real-world examples and projects that make coding engaging and relevant. I cover everything from core concepts like variables, loops, and functions to advanced topics such as object-oriented programming, data analysis, and automation. I emphasize creativity in coding, encourage experimentation, and adapt my methods to suit each student’s learning style. My teaching methodology for Python blends **creativity, cultural sensitivity, and motivation** to make coding both accessible and exciting for learners of all levels. I believe Python is more than just syntax—it’s a gateway to problem-solving, automation, and innovation. I design lessons that are practical, project-based, and customized to the student’s needs, whether they are beginners exploring programming for the first time or advanced learners aiming to sharpen their skills.
Cultural sensitivity plays a key role in my approach. I adapt examples, projects, and communication styles to fit each student’s background, ensuring a comfortable and inclusive learning environment. My teaching covers fundamentals like variables, loops, and functions, as well as advanced concepts such as object-oriented programming, data analysis, and automation.
To keep students motivated, I set achievable milestones, celebrate small wins, and connect coding exercises to real-world applications like web development, data science, and AI. In addition to Python, I can also teach relevant subjects such as Java and C, giving students a broader programming foundation for academic success and career growth.
