About Jada
As a recent graduate, I know the QCAA school system very well. I understand what markers are looking for both in assignments and exams. Specializing in the sciences, I currently study a dual degree at UQ of Bachelor of Science majoring in Biomedicine and a Bachelor of Music performance. I love working with students of all ages, especially sharing my love of chemistry and physics with students and finding different ways of thinking. I've had students come to me confused with some of the most mind-boggling topics in physics and chemistry. After reframing the concept to something fun and memorable, I understood the importance of learning styles and finding what works best for the individual.

-> I have a keen eye for the sciences, specifically chemistry and physics. Within these areas, I thrived in the unit 4 topics of both subjects, including quantum physics, special relativity, and organic chemistry. Because of how complex and confusing these subjects can be, I try to make lessons as interactive and fun as possible while making sure students understand everything before the end of the session.
-> Knowing your own individual style of learning is so important and the best way to understand content quickly. I see this all the time with younger students saying their teacher "doesn't teach" when really, they simply aren't explaining content in your individual style of learning.
-> I love diving into making content easy to understand and possibly even fun to practice, because nothing is fun when you don't understand it. I know time is money, and in today's age, nothing's ever cheap, so I'll spend the first session with you for half price because people are not always the right fit, and that's ok! But when you find what works, the best feeling follows. See you soon!
