About Peggy
I am a QTS-qualified Science Teacher with nearly 20 years of teaching experience. I enjoy helping students understand Science in a clear, simple and practical way. My teaching background has allowed me to support students with different abilities, learning styles and confidence levels. I believe Science becomes much easier when students understand the key ideas, practise exam-style questions and learn how to use scientific keywords correctly. I want to teach because I enjoy seeing students gain confidence, improve step by step and feel proud of their progress.

My lessons are clear, structured and student-centred. As a QTS-qualified Science Teacher with nearly 20 years of teaching experience, I help KS3 and GCSE students understand Biology, Chemistry and Physics through simple explanations, diagrams, real-life examples and guided practice. I focus on building confidence, improving subject knowledge and developing strong exam skills, including how to answer questions in complete sentences and use scientific keywords correctly. Lessons can be adapted to each student’s level, whether they need extra support, revision, or preparation for exams.
