About the lesson

I am a qualified and experienced teacher of Spanish to GCSE and A Level and English as a foreign language. I have taught ESOL Entry level 1 - 3 and PET, FCE, CAE and IELTS. I have a BA degree in Spanish with French and a CERT TESOL Teaching English as a foreign language from Trinity College.

I have been working for over 20 years in teaching both in secondary and adult education. I use the communicative approach with lots of repetition and practice in the early stages with lots of colourful and varied visual aids. Grammar is built in steadily as each student progresses with regular consolidation of reading and writing skills. I enjoy teaching and encouraging students' progress through the levels to confidence and fluency.
