About Saumya
When teaching UI/UX design, my approach is centered around a hands-on and immersive learning experience. I believe in providing students with a solid foundation in both the theoretical and practical aspects of UI/UX design, empowering them to become skilled and competent designers.
To achieve this, I employ a combination of lectures, interactive discussions, and practical exercises. I encourage students to actively participate in the learning process by engaging in group activities, design critiques, and real-world projects. This approach allows them to gain a deep understanding of the principles and methodologies of UI/UX design while also developing their problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
In my teaching, I emphasize the importance of user-centered design and the value of conducting thorough user research. Students learn how to empathize with users, identify their needs and pain points, and translate those insights into effective design solutions. I guide them through the process of creating wireframes, prototypes, and mockups, enabling them to develop a comprehensive skill set in design tools and techniques such as Adobe XD, Sketch, and InVision.
Furthermore, I foster a collaborative and inclusive learning environment where students can exchange ideas, offer constructive feedback, and learn from each other's diverse perspectives. I encourage creativity and experimentation, inspiring students to push the boundaries of traditional design and explore innovative approaches.
In summary, my teaching approach for UI/UX design involves a balance of theory, practical exercises, and collaborative learning.
