About Esme
I am currently Resident (Junior) Doctor working in the NHS, having graduated two years ago from Medical School. In addition to my Medical Degree I have also completed a full 3-year Biochemistry degree with First Class Honours.
In my spare time, I enjoy running and creative activities including painting and sewing. Previously, I was a keen rower, which requires dedication to be an effective team player and self-discipline to train at 5am!
At university I have been involved with the Peer Mentoring Scheme for new students, in which I was responsible for providing guidance and answering any questions. Whilst working as a Junior Doctor I have also been involved in the Peer Teaching scheme, teaching others within my cohort on topics relevant to clinical practice.

I am keen to teach pupils of differing abilities. My techniques include videos, past papers, mind-mapping, diagrams, answering questions and discussion.
I hope to develop ways of learning that are unique to each student according to their individual needs.
I am a friendly, approachable person and able to adapt my teaching to suit each pupil. I enjoy learning and understand the importance of the development of individual learning styles. It would be a privilege to help you towards achieving your individual goals, whilst also bringing some fun to the learning environment.
