Student-centred, interactive, bespoke and fun lessons using contemporary teaching methodologies. Learners are challenged and guided through problem-solving exercises and independent research, rather than spoon-fed theory. My aim is to inspire and boost interest in the subject and enable learners to gain a richer understanding of content at their own pace and initiative. I use a Socratic approach, which involves constant dialogue, debate and discussion around current economic affairs relevant to the content being studied. Learners are presented with different viewpoints and economics 'schools of thought' and guided through their journey of making sense of economic models, theories and concepts using real-life examples.
