About Amanda
Hello! My name is Amanda, and I am from South Africa. I am a passionate and dedicated teacher who enjoys helping students learn and grow in confidence.
I have experience working with learners from different backgrounds and believe that learning should be engaging, supportive, and enjoyable. My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and tailored to each student's individual needs.
I am a native isiXhosa speaker and fluent in English, and I enjoy helping students improve their language, communication, reading, and writing skills. Outside of teaching, I enjoy sports and have experience coaching netball and athletics.

I am a qualified educator with a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE), SACE registration, and 3 years of teaching experience. During this time, I have worked with learners from diverse backgrounds and developed effective teaching strategies to support different learning needs and abilities.
My teaching approach is student-centered, engaging, and supportive. I tailor lessons to meet each student's individual goals and learning style, helping them build confidence in speaking, reading, writing, grammar, and communication skills. I believe that students learn best in a positive and encouraging environment where they feel comfortable participating and asking questions.
As a native isiXhosa speaker with advanced English proficiency, I can help students improve their conversational skills, pronunciation, vocabulary, and overall language fluency. I use interactive activities, practical examples, and real-life situations to make lessons enjoyable, practical, and effective.
In addition to teaching, I have experience coaching netball and athletics, which has strengthened my leadership, communication, and motivational skills. I am passionate about education and committed to helping every student reach their full potential
