About Mark
I am a qualified Gyrotonic instructor and dance teacher with international teaching experience across Europe in English, Italian, and Portuguese. I hold an English First Certificate and have prepared students for English exams and interviews. I have been teaching online English conversation classes for over two years.

Hello! I’m a Scottish–Italian performer based in London, UK. I was born in Rome, and my artistic training and professional work have taken me all over the world.
Through my travels, I’ve met and worked with people from many different cultures and backgrounds, which has given me a deep understanding of language, communication, and human connection. This naturally led me to start helping people improve their English, with a particular focus on online conversation classes.
As a professional performer, I am an accent and pronunciation specialist, and I use these skills extensively in my acting work. I bring this expertise into my lessons to help students speak more clearly, confidently, and naturally.
Teaching runs in my family — English language teaching is part of my background — and growing up bilingual has given me strong insight into how people learn languages. Being born and raised in Rome, I also speak Italian fluently and am happy to offer Italian conversation and language classes as well.
I love talking about art, music, travel, and culture, and I genuinely enjoy learning about other people and their experiences. My lessons are friendly, engaging, and tailored to each student’s interests and goals.
And one very important detail: I am a very proud dog dad to a little toy poodle named Mama
