About Aoife

I am a qualified BSc Chemistry Graduate working in the pharmaceutical industry who has achieved a first-class honours grade. I have given Leaving Cert chemistry grinds in the past and I'm happy to help in any way that I can!

About the lesson

I am willing to help students in any way I can, and find it best to do this by focusing on topics the students may find most challenging, whilst also not ignoring the basics which might be necessary to revisit in order to fully grasp an understanding of some more difficult areas of chemistry. I am happy to work through example problems and calculations with students, as I believe practice is the best way to learn. I am happy to review class tests or exams with students to explain anything they may be having difficulty with. I will listen to the student to understand what areas they wish to focus on, and base my lessons around this. I can also provide summary notes on each chapter to help condense the course into important notes for each chapter. Frequency of lessons can be decided by the student, but the price listed reflects the cost of one weekly 1-hour lesson. Cost of lessons can vary based on demand so please do not hesitate to contact me regarding the current cost of a lesson.

Lauren is a very bright student and isn’t afraid to ask questions on areas which might be complicated to understand. She is always engaged during lessons and well able to answer leaving cert past exam questions. I have no doubt that she will do well in her exams.
