I cover the full GCSE curriculum across both tiers including algebra, geometry, ratio, probability and statistics. Algebra gets serious attention, covering quadratic equations, inequalities, completing the square and graph interpretation. Circle theorems, trigonometry using the sine and cosine rules, vectors and mensuration are all worked through with clear methods. Multi-step problem solving and past paper practice run throughout every stage so students know exactly how to present working and perform consistently.
What we will cover:
- The full GCSE curriculum including number, algebra, ratio and proportion, geometry and measures, probability and statistics across both foundation and higher tier.
- Algebra in depth, covering simplifying expressions, linear and quadratic equations, inequalities, factorising, completing the square and sketching quadratic, cubic and trigonometric graphs.
- Geometry and measures including circle theorems, trigonometry using the sine and cosine rules, Pythagoras, vectors and mensuration, each taught with clear methods and consistent practice.
- Multi-step problem solving, with a focus on reading questions carefully, selecting the right approach and presenting working in a logical sequence.
- Ratio, proportion and rates of change including direct and inverse proportion, percentage change, compound interest and speed, distance and time problems.
- Past papers and mark schemes throughout so students know the format, the standard of working expected and can manage their time effectively across a full paper.
