About Rachel
I have taught in the Northern Territory and Western Australia. Extensive knowledge of Primary classroom pedagogy from Pre Primary to Year 6.
I have experience and qualification in high school HASS. Students who are low in reading, writing and reading comprehension are able to overcome barriers to learning. I usually work on their confidence and get them to realise that they already have everything they need to succeed in them!

I get students to realise that they can come up with answers and problems to solutions on their own. This is usually through Inquiry based learning. Another technique that works well with children and adults as well is to teach them 'how to do something'. I follow the I do- We do- You do. I do the example by myself first, then we work on examples together and after that the learner will attempt by themselves.
