About Alexander
Who am I? I am a qualified Mathematics teacher with a PGCE from Oxford University and experience teaching across UK secondary schools. I’ve worked with students of different abilities, exam boards, and learning needs, both in classrooms and online. My background in mathematics and problem-solving fuels my passion for making complex ideas clear and accessible. Why do I want to teach? Because I believe that mathematics can transform a student’s confidence. I’ve seen how the right explanation, delivered with patience and structure, can turn frustration into understanding. Teaching allows me to guide students through that process—helping them discover their strengths, overcome anxiety, and achieve results they didn’t think were possible. For me, teaching isn’t just transmitting knowledge; it’s empowering students and giving them tools they can use throughout their lives.

I am a qualified Mathematics teacher (PGCE, Oxford University) with experience teaching in UK secondary schools and tutoring students online from KS3 to A-Level.
