About Deep
Born and raised in London, I was the Director of Studies at the British School Fleming from 2000 to 2017, as well as a Visiting EFL Lecturer at the University of Westminster in London every summer from 1993 to 2010. I currently work as a freelance teacher and consultant for companies and individuals in Rome where I've lived since 1996. Areas of expertise include:
Business English - Legal English - English for Journalism - Medical English - Presentation Skills - Preparation for Cambridge, PTE, IELTS, TOEFL, LCCI, and IGCSE exams.
In addition to teaching, I also provide consultancy services for companies and schools in the areas of recruitment, resources, quality control, teacher training, and exams.

Based on an entry test (level test) and needs' analysis, I will create an learning path tailored for each student (personalized study plan) with very specific goals to achieve together in a set timeframe. The general approach I use is the so-called Direct Method (with continuous interaction between student and teacher) with particular attention paid to the development of skills (Speaking, Listening, Reading & Writing), as well as providing a review of all grammar and working on voacbulary extension. I will provide all the necessary resources as well as post-lesson notes after each session.

Deep è un insegnante lodevole. Prepara lezioni interessanti, mai banali, permettendo all'alunno di cimentarsi in diverse situazioni: dal cambiamento climatico al sistema politico, a storie inventate, il tutto per ampliare il vocabolario dello studente. Capisce le esigenze dell'alunno e segue le sue inclinazioni per raggiungere l'obiettivo: far accrescere la sua conoscenza linguistica! Lo consiglio vivamente anche a chi si cimenta per la prima volta con l'inglese, così come a chi parte con un buon livello, come me, e vuole allenarlo per progredire. Voto 10!
Ho lavorato con Deep al British School e non ho incontrato miglior insegnante in dieci anni di insegnamento, conosce la grammatica inside out è anche simpatico!
