I’m a native French speaker with several years of experience teaching students of all levels, from GCSE and A-Level to adults learning French for work or travel. I focus on clear, patient explanations and practical practice so students can build confidence and make steady progress. My teaching approach is student-centred, structured, and practical. I adapt each lesson to the student’s level, goals, and learning style, whether they are preparing for exams, improving spoken French, or building confidence from the basics. I focus on clear explanations, gradual progression, and regular practice to ensure students fully understand and retain what they learn.
I use a mix of techniques including guided conversation, grammar explanation, vocabulary building, listening exercises, and written practice. For exam students (GCSE and A-Level), I work closely with the syllabus, past papers, and exam techniques. For adults, lessons are more conversational and practical, focusing on real-life situations and fluency.
Lessons typically last 60 minutes, allowing enough time for explanation, practice, and feedback. Short homework tasks may be given when appropriate to reinforce learning between sessions.
I am a native French speaker with several years of experience teaching French to students of different ages and abilities. I have supported learners at GCSE and A-Level, as well as adults learning French for travel, work, or personal interest.
My lessons are suitable for secondary school students, sixth-form students, and adults, from beginner to advanced level. I aim to create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable making progress and asking questions.
