About Joe

I'm an online English teacher from London, UK, with over ten years' experience teaching English to hundreds of people from all over the world. I specialise in helping my students improve their speaking and writing skills, and I have many years' experience preparing students for IELTS, CAE and CPE exams.

About the lesson

Format: I offer individual and group lessons using Zoom video conferencing. I use an online whiteboard app and Quizlet to help you visualise and keep track of your learning. Materials: I incorporate real-life content into my lessons, such as news articles, blogs, videos and podcasts. Structure: My lessons are all about practice, feedback and study skills. Practice: I give you the time and space you need to express yourself and practise the language. Feedback: I give you clear, detailed feedback on how you can improve. Study Skills: I teach you effective strategies to help you continue learning in your own time.
