About Liam
I'm a NZ REPs Registered Personal Trainer and qualified Strength & Conditioning Coach with a passion for helping people achieve lasting results through evidence-based training. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Forensic Analytical Science, a Postgraduate Certificate in Applied Science (Physical Conditioning) with Distinction, and have recently completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Science (Physical Conditioning).
Alongside coaching, I compete at a national level in powerlifting and have experience working with clients of all ages and abilities, from beginners to competitive athletes. I also coach High School Rugby and at Special Olympics Powerlifting Dunedin, giving me experience adapting programs to suit a wide range of individual needs and goals.
My approach is professional, supportive, and focused on building long-term habits rather than quick fixes. As an NZ REPs Registered Exercise Professional, I am committed to maintaining high professional standards and continuing my education to provide safe, effective, and evidence-based coaching. Whether you're looking to improve your health, build strength, lose weight, recover from injury, or enhance sporting performance, I'm committed to providing personalized coaching that helps you achieve your goals safely and confidently.

My coaching is evidence-based, personalized, and focused on helping every client achieve sustainable, long-term results. I take the time to understand your goals, lifestyle, training history, and any injuries or limitations before developing a program tailored specifically to you. Whether your goal is improving general health, building strength and muscle, losing weight, rehabilitating from injury, or enhancing sporting performance, every session is designed to be challenging, enjoyable, and progressive.
Sessions last 45 minutes and combine practical coaching with education, so you understand not only what to do, but why you're doing it. I believe empowering clients with knowledge builds confidence and creates lasting habits beyond the gym.
