About Bernard
I am 60 years old , and retired from a career as an architect. I keep myself fit and healthy, so that I can enjoy growing old. Throughout my life, I have always been interested in a healthy lifestyle, and have “experimented “ on myself with the different exercise trends and diet fads. I know what really works and what is just b.s.
I have come across many like myself, in their 50s and above, and struggling to maintain a healthy lifestyle. They are overwhelmed with all the information overload out there, and are not able to shift out what is relevant and what will work for them I focus on the areas of strength training, cardio, mobility and nutrition, with emphasis on the mid-lifers. I have gathered a lot of practical and actionable knowledge in this area, and would like to share them with you.

Ever since I was a teenager, I was interested in health, fitness and nutrition. I had a career as an architect, but kept abreast of the latest developments in the fitness industry. I even found the time to qualify as a Cross Training coach.
I am now 60 years old, and retired. I have a gym now, to keep up with my passion. Throughout my life, I have tried all the different exercise fads, from Cross Training to F45 to MovNat. I tried the different nutrition diets like Paleo, Keto, Atkins. I read extensively on the physiology of the human body. In short, I have experimented on myself, to see what really works and what is just b.s.
Being 60, I am now concerned with keeping myself fit and healthy. I focus primarily on strength training, cardio, mobility and nutrition, the four essential areas those of us in mid-life will need. I have gathered a lot of knowledge in this area, and would like to share them with folks like me.
So if you are in your 50s and above, would like to start a healthy and fit lifestyle, but not sure how to begin, or if you are already doing something, but not happy with the results, drop me a line and we will see what I can do for you. The manner in which we mid-lifers approach health and fitness is quite different from the young ‘uns, and knowing this can make all the difference towards a healthier lifestyle.
