About Katya
Hello, I'm Katya, a qualified secondary Physics teacher with a Master's degree in Physics with Astrophysics. I currently teach GCSE Physics, including both Combined and Triple Science, and have extensive experience supporting students across a wide range of abilities.
I am passionate about making Physics accessible, engaging, and enjoyable. Whether a student needs help building confidence with the basics or is aiming for the highest GCSE grades, I provide tailored support to help them succeed.
As a practising teacher, I have an up-to-date understanding of the Edexcel and AQA specifications, exam requirements, and effective revision strategies. My goal is to help students develop a strong understanding of Physics, improve their exam technique, and achieve their full potential.

I am a qualified secondary Physics teacher with a Master's degree in Physics with Astrophysics and extensive experience teaching GCSE Physics. I currently teach both Edexcel and AQA specifications, including Combined and Triple Science.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes long and combine clear explanations, guided practice, and exam-style questions. I place a strong emphasis on exam technique, helping students apply their knowledge effectively and maximise marks.
