About Thay
My name is Shazia, and I am a qualified Physiotherapist with a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from Pakistan and a transitional DPT (t-DPT) from the United States. Alongside my healthcare profession, I have been passionately teaching Urdu for over 5 years to students of all ages and backgrounds — both in-person and online. My love for the Urdu language, combined with my academic discipline, helps me create structured, engaging, and personalized lessons that are easy to follow and enjoyable. I specialize in teaching kids, adults, beginners, and heritage learners who wish to learn Urdu for school, travel, culture, or conversation. As a teacher, I am friendly, patient, and student-centered. I always aim to create a comfortable environment where learners feel confident to ask questions and make mistakes.
