About Emma
I am a dedicated pianist and teacher with over five years of teaching experience. I hold a Diploma in Music Teaching and Performance, and a First Class Honours Bachelor of Music Performance from the Royal Irish Academy of Music. I am currently living in Cardiff and studying for a Master’s degree in Music Performance at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama as a recipient of the Steinway Scholarship. Alongside teaching, I maintain an active performing career as a soloist, chamber musician, orchestral pianist, and accompanist. I am passionate about sharing my love of music and helping students develop their skills, confidence, and creativity, whether they are learning for enjoyment, personal growth, or professional aspirations.

I teach all ages and levels, from complete beginners to advanced pianists, and cover a wide range of genres, with particular expertise in classical music. Drawing on over five years of teaching experience in both private tuition and music school settings, I focus on building strong technique, musical understanding, confidence, and enjoyment at the piano. Whether you’re learning for fun, preparing for exams, or developing performance skills, lessons are designed to be engaging, supportive, and rewarding.
