About Vanessa
Hi! My name is Vanessa! I am a qualified primary school teacher and am currently study a Masters in neuroscience. I am a stay at home mum to a 4yo and 7month old, teaching relief when I can. My husband and eldest daughter both have ADHD and have inspired me to learn as much about the human brain as I can. I’m hoping that I can use my knowledge and experience to help other parents and students with ADHD better understand themselves and educate fellow teachers on how to embrace and work with ADHD students.

Lessons designed by myself are fluid, flexible and adaptable. I plan all my lessons with a specific learning outcome, but enjoy working with my students to navigate the best way to reach that goal. In lessons I adapt therapeutic and counselling practices such as PACE to ease anxiety, build trust and create more room for learning! My lessons are designed according to the Australian Curriculum content descriptors for primary students years P-6.
