About Rebekah
Hi there! My name is Rebekah and I am a Primary School Teacher and Tutor. I create tailored lessons for children to boost confidence, support learning and stretch and challenge their existing knowledge. My overall aim for a session is for the children to be engaged, excited about learning and confident in their knowledge.
I am an organised individual and always ensure my students and guardians are being treated with respect by turning up on time and having fair costs for the work I produce. I also have an open door policy where guardians are always welcome to give their feedback (positive and negative!). I enjoy having a child led approach to tutoring, meaning the children will help inform my planning through what they want to cover, helping increase confidence and gaining support.

I have a child centred philosophy when it comes to teaching, meaning my lessons will be planned and taught with input from the child. I have the skillset to adapt and improve lessons for your children based on their learning style and their interests to ensure they are engaged and enjoy the lessons.
I am qualified in Primary Education (5-11 year olds), being able to teach the whole primary curriculum, but I also specialised in English at a University Level, as well as studying English Language at A Level. Due to this, I also tutor secondary school students in English, Grammar and Exam Technique. I have also been a National Tutor for a year, working with a local Primary School.
My lessons range from 30 mins (great for learning recaps needed) to two hour sessions (more effective for exam technique and revision). I welcome children of all attainment levels, whether these sessions are for pushing and challenging, or supporting and building confidence.
