About Sam

Hello, my name is Sam. I am a primary school teacher with 9 years of teaching experience. Currently I have time to tutor, so now I would love to help your child discover the magic of reading effortlessly for enjoyment. I am very good with children. I am calm, engaging, and I use gentle encouragement. These lessons would be perfect for your child if you want to give them a solid start to reading confidently. Struggling readers need a more systematic and tailored approach than what is often available in the busy classroom, and they also need 1 on 1 support to bring them up to age-appropriate reading levels. About the lesson

You will be reading this blurb if one of your children is struggling to unlock the reading code, and you are ready to make an investment to give your child the gift of reading for enjoyment. I am a qualified Australian Primary School teacher with 9 years of teaching experience. I will gently assess your child’s current level and build upon their current understanding using synthetic phonics resources, leveled phonics books, phonics flashcards and my wealth of training and expertise to systematically guide your struggling or beginner reader to realize the joy of reading in a stress-free environment. These lessons are tailored to your child’s individual needs and can be catered to children aged 6 to 11. Thank you for reading and please reach out to me so I can help your child thrive.

I find that to see the best success rates it’s best to have 30min lessons 2 or 3 times a week. 30 min lessons cost half the price, so it will be $20 for a 30min lesson
