About Charmaine
I have been teaching for more than 30 years. I have taught all subjects from grade 0 to grade 7. Most of my experience is in Remedial Education. I was Head of Department for the Junior Primary section at the Remedial School. I have done private one-on-one lessons for about 20 years. I have also taught ESL (English as a Second Language) in Saudi Arabia and France.

I specialise in one-on-one lessons. I assess the manner in which the child learns and base my teaching methods on that. I like to build up a relationship of trust with the child as this allows for maximum learning. My lessons are as interesting and interactive as possible to maximise the learning process.
