About Farzana
I am a native English speaking Qualified Teacher born and educated in the UK. My own educational journey has shaped the teacher I am today. I left High School early but through self-study and determination, I completed my qualifications to earn a place at my first choice university. There, I became an ambassador for education and mentored many students, helping them find their confidence and path to success. I was even nominated as Aim Higher Mentor of the Year due to my dedication, passion, and effectiveness as a mentor. That experience ignited my passion for teaching in the Middle East, where I’ve had the privilege of working with students from all around the world. This experience is special to me as it allows me to celebrate cultural diversity and different learning styles every day. I’m also a proud parent to an 8-year-old son who gives me an even deeper understanding of how children learn, grow, and respond to care and patience. My goal as a tutor is to create a nurturing and motivating environment where every student feels valued and empowered to succeed.

As an experienced EAL (English as an additional language) Specialist with over 10 years ofteaching experience in Early Years and Primary education, I believe every child learns best when they feel supported, understood and confident. My approach to tutoring is highly personalised taking time to learn each student’s strengths, challenges and interests to design engaging and effective lessons that not only build language and key skills but develop confidence and self belief.
