My approach is tailored to each student’s needs, using evidence-based strategies to build confidence and essential skills. - I use a student-centered approach, incorporating hands-on activities, visual aids, and interactive discussions to make learning enjoyable - Lessons follow a structured framework with explicit instruction, guided practice, and independent learning, utilizing the Gradual Release of Responsibility (GRR) model to empower students to take ownership of their learning - I integrate phonics, comprehension strategies, problem-solving techniques, and real-world applications to strengthen understanding - Sessions are typically 60 minutes and include a mix of direct instruction, skill-building exercises, and targeted practice I provide ongoing feedback and adapt lessons to support different learning styles and abilities Who Are My Lessons For? - Prep to Year 6 students needing support in reading, writing, spelling, grammar, and math - Students looking to build confidence, improve comprehension, and develop problem-solving skills - Learners preparing for assessments or needing extra support in key subject areas My goal is to create a positive, supportive learning environment where every student can achieve their personal best!
