About Kay

I am a newly graduate, primary teacher with a BA Honours in Primary Teaching. I have 3+ years of experience teaching in class, ranging from children ages 4-11. I have 5+ years experience in private tutoring for primary-aged children, primarily in English and Maths. I have a TEFL qualification, so I can further support children who do not speak English as their first language. I am also DBS certified as I often work in schools. I value professionalism when working with my students, whilst still maintaining a good relation so that my students respect and feel comfortable learning with me.

About the lesson

I am a Qualified Primary Teacher with BA Honours in Primary Education with QTS. My aim is to ensure my students progress with every session. All sessions are closely tailored to the needs and abilities of my students. I focus on improving strengths, weaknesses and, increasing confidence. My friendly yet professional approach has worked well with a wide variety of pupils- pupils who enjoy studying and those who do not. I aim to make lessons engaging and interactive so that my pupils develop an interest in studying. My lessons are flexible and adaptable. Has the student mastered a topic? We move onto the next. Is the student struggling with one topic? We target it until it has been improved. All children are unique and have amazing potential.
