About Mahassine
I have a 1st class degree in physics and I am a qualified teacher in science (specialising in physics) and mathematics. I qualified in 2021 and have taught in a comprehensive school for over a year and a half, helping students achieve their potential in science. I have 5 experience teaching ages from 11-18 as a tutor.
I have a keen interest in all things maths and physics, and I enjoy sharing my enthusiasm with my students.

In my tutorials, I am very flexible with what content should be covered. I think it is important that the student is actively involved in the sessions. I prefer to focus the first couple sessions on understanding the students's strengths and weaknesses, so that we can identify together which topics require some work.
I find that passion is almost infectious, so when a teacher is passionate about what they are teaching, I believe that students will be more determined to learn. I hope to use my passion for maths and physics to inspire my students in enjoying and engaging in the subjects to further encourage their willingness to learn more. I was very fortunate enough to have teachers who were really enthusiastic about their subject so I understand how powerful it can be to have one that is passionate.
