About Lefu

Hi, I’m Lefu H. Kupeka, a passionate and dedicated Science and Math teacher with over 13 years of experience teaching students across South Africa and the UK. I specialize in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and am also the author of a Grade 10 Physical Sciences Study Guide, which I created to make complex concepts more accessible and easier to understand. I have taught in both state schools and schools of specialization and I am fully certified with QTS (UK). Whether in the classroom or one-on-one, my goal is to help students like you master the material and build confidence in your abilities. Why I’m Interested in Teaching: I’ve always been fascinated by the power of knowledge and the ability of education to unlock a person’s potential. From a young age, I loved the challenge of solving problems and understanding how things worked, which led me to pursue teaching. My journey as a teacher has shown me that every student learns differently, and I find it incredibly rewarding to adapt my approach to suit each individual. I believe that math and science are not just subjects, but tools that empower students to think critically and solve real-world problems. For me, teaching isn’t just about covering the curriculum — it’s about making learning an engaging and transformative experience. It’s about helping you see that with the right guidance, you can master even the toughest challenges and feel proud of your progress. I’m passionate about ensuring that every student leaves my lessons feeling more confident, capable, and prepared for whatever comes next.
