About Nabeela

I am a qualified science teacher with a PGCE degree in chemistry from the University of Sussex and have over five years of tutoring experience. Before working as a teacher, I worked in a secondary school in London as a Teaching Assistant and gained a lot of experience working with SEND and EAL students. I possess a good depth of subject knowledge, which is further solidified by my role as a Graduate science teacher and a trainee science teacher, providing me with a grasp of curriculum demands and assessment objectives. I have successfully guided students to top grades and provided subject-specific revision resources. My comprehensive understanding of common misconceptions and marking schemes allows me to precisely target the areas that will maximise my students’ academic success and confidence.

About the lesson

My tutoring style is more welcoming than warning. I create a patient, positive atmosphere where students are encouraged to ask questions. In my lessons, I use tailored examples and techniques that match my students’ unique learning style. My goal is to build their confidence and core understanding, not just teach to test their knowledge, equipping them with resilient problem-solving skills and effective study habits for lasting success.
