About Joseph

I am a 22 year old qualified teacher who has graduated from the University of Cambridge studying Natural Sciences, having completed my A-Levels in Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and French.
I teach full-time in a secondary school, having attained my PGCE in science. I have also successfully supported a student into receiving an offer from Cambridge.
With University offers from Cambridge, Durham, Bath, Bristol, and Lancaster, I will be able to give tailored advice on university applications too.

About the lesson

I can teach KS3 and GCSE biology, chemistry and physics to 11-16 year olds looking to improve their outcomes in science. This is pivotal to increasing a pupil's post-16 options, as developing scientific thinking skills alongside boosting grades results in transferrable skills desirable to all employers and higher education recruiters.

As for university admission sessions, I target these lessons to year 12s who are writing their personal statements and choosing which universities they want to apply to. Hopefully, I will be able to help them make informed decisions while proofreading and making suggestions to guide their personal statement into being a piece of work that they are proud of.
Ultimately, my students have control over their application, but through understanding their subject-specific and extra-curricular interests better, the chances of acceptance should greatly increase.

I strongly believe that tutoring should be tailored to each individual student as everyone thinks differently and has different goals they plan to achieve. I will be able to offer a tutoring experience at the perfect pace to match the student's needs.
