About Seval

Prior to qualifying as a secondary English teacher, I taught English as a Foreign Language (EFL) and English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL). I offer English lessons for Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, and have extensive experience preparing students for IGCSE, GCSE, A Level, and International Baccalaureate (IB) English examinations.

My teaching is underpinned by a strong academic background, including an MA in English Linguistics, an MA in Montessori Education, and a BA in English Teacher Education, with a specialist focus on English literature, including Shakespeare, drama, poetry, and the novel. Combined with my experience across a range of curricula and examination boards, these qualifications enable me to deliver engaging, personalised lessons and effective exam preparation tailored to each student's individual needs.

About the lesson

Based on 18 years of classroom teaching, along with experience in online instruction, I tailor my teaching methodology to each student's individual needs, learning style, and personality. I strongly believe that learning should be engaging and meaningful, as students learn best when they are motivated, focused, and actively involved in the process.
