About Sarah

I am passionate about English and have been tutoring since I was a student in university I have now been working as a qualified teacher of English and Drama for 2 years gaining significant results from my pupils within my first year. Working with young people, giving them the skills required to succeed, is a vocation of mine instilled by the values of working hard, having integrity and being kind. I believe that young people are our future and in turn our success so working with them through such important times in their youth I can impart my own knowledge, skills and experience to enable confidence, grit and determination in the youngsters whilst still respecting them as young adults. Offering a guided learning process I feel enables us to build a professional relationship that will reward my students academically and is the way that I can help future leaders, innovators and workers

About the lesson

As a qualified teacher of English with a successful record in student achievement I can help you become a confident and successful young learner with weekly or fortnightly sessions during term time depending on your needs and schedule. I work online over teams so there is no need to leave your home and all resources will be emailed out to you before the session Offering bespoke lessons and booklets tailored to your specific needs and modules I can help prepare you for; your 11+ entrance exam (£25 p/h), end of year exams(£30 p/h), fill in gaps due to missed learning/EAL(£25 p/h), GCSE/Mock exams (£30 p/h), A-Level exams (£30 p/h), coursework reviews (£25 p/h) or University entrance exams (£30 p/h).
Offering a range of transferable skills that will help not only with English examinations but anything that requires evaluation or analysis: history, classics, psychology, sociology or drama. The first session will be spent assessing and baselining your needs as well as discussions with yourself what your aim is out of the sessions and how confident you feel about modules within your chosen subject as well as how regularly you will need tutoring and for what length of time, working on a termly basis.
