About Zandrie

Good day all students reading this. I am a qualified teacher, I have a Bachelor's in education in intermediate and senior phase (grade 4-9). I stopped working a few years ago because I gave birth to our first child, and then later to our second child. We live on a farm far from town, and we didn't have anyone who could look after our children. I have done a few piano UNISA exams (grade PG - grade 7), and also UNISA music theory grade PG - grade 5. I am a singer and will be able to assist in vocal coaching since I'm already giving vocal lessons for two students at the moment. I love teaching but it is too far for me to go to town every day so I would prefer teaching from home.

About the lesson

I believe that if a teacher puts in the effort, you can break up difficult work into a few easy pieces to understand it better. I have the ability to explain difficult work, in an easy way. I did 4 years of remediation for alcohol syndrome and dyslexic children aged 10-14, and I have taught them a lot of things regarding their school work, in a way other teachers couldn't. I love working one on one with kids and devote all my attention to that child, even if it is only for 5 minutes, I make every second count. I am Afrikaans, but I speak English quite fluently.
