About Sophie
I am a qualified teacher of French in the UK (PGCE QTS) who has spent the past 3 years teaching French from beginner to GCSE level in a secondary school in the south of England. I have experience of teaching book 1 and book 2 of the Cambridge Latin course too in the same secondary school. I have also spent a year teaching English to French pupils on the outskirts of Paris as a language assistant.

I believe that teaching is about equilibrium. It is about the pupil and the teacher working together to achieve the desired outcome. This works perfectly for language learning as communication is all about a balanced exchange between each other. I am a friendly and understanding teacher who will work hard to find ways to help and make learning valuable.
